CMT and CMT.com will present the exclusive world premiere of Reba's new music video for the song "Somebody's Chelsea" today, Monday, September 26 at 8 a.m. ET/PT. Kicking off with a 15-minute special CMT Premieres: Reba – "Somebody's Chelsea," fans can see behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot, which was filmed in Los Angeles and directed by Trey Fanjoy.
Reba helped create the video concept with Fanjoy, which showcases a storybook love affair told through a chance encounter on an airplane. "Somebody's Chelsea" is from Reba's new Valory Music Co. album, All The Women I Am.
"Somebody's Chelsea" was co-written by Reba, Liz Hengber and Will Robinson. The inspiration for the song came from a line of dialogue in the film P. S. I Love You, in which Harry Connick Jr's character tells Hilary Swank, "I'm going to go find somebody because one of these days, I want to be somebody's Frank."
"I gasped and I got on the computer and emailed Liz saying, 'This is a great idea for a song!'" said Reba. "So she got Will to help us with it and we wrote 'Somebody's Chelsea.'"
"Somebody's Chelsea" will premiere across CMT's multiple properties including CMT, CMT.com, CMT Pure, CMT Top 20 Countdown, and CMT's social media platforms. The video will also debut on Palladia, MTV Networks' high-definition music channel. CMT is the only country music network in the unique position to deliver world premiere exclusives to fans on demand, on multiple platforms.
This fall, Reba will embark on the All The Women I Am tour throughout the US and Canada.
