(Gibson) Live at Montreux is out this week and it features the last recorded concert from the much-missed Gary Moore. In his later life, the renowned Irish Les Paul player was headed in a rockier direction after many years releasing songs that reflected his original blues inspirations.
The Live at Montreux set list, recorded in 2010, draws heavily on Moore's successful rock albums of the 1980s along with a couple of his classic blues tracks. It also includes three brand-new songs that would have featured on a planned album, left uncompleted on Moore's death in February 2011.
