(Gibson) Nicky Wire, bass player with Manic Street Preachers, has called their latest album a "wave goodbye."Britain's Daily Express reports the bassist hinted at goodbyes when taking about their most recent studio album, Postcards from a Young Man to NME: "It's genuinely, for the three of us, one of our favorite records. There's just something, there's a sense of us giving it all we've got, and I think we've got to wave our goodbye a bit."
The band will play a special show in London this Christmas, performing all 38 of their singles. Wire said of the upcoming concert: "It's going to be an immense project, production-wise – screens, videos, you name it, you know, it'll be a completely unique thing. And we'll never do it again... it's really, kind of, finishing up." more on this story
