(MSO) Eurythmics star Dave Stewart is to appear next Wednesday, November 2 on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," where he will be performing with the Roots a song from his new solo album The Blackbird Diaries.The Blackbird Diaries features a co-write with Bob Dylan ("Worth The Waiting For") as well as duets with Stevie Nicks, Martina McBride, Colbie Caillat, and the Secret Sisters.
In other Dave Stewart news, he wrote, with Glen Ballard, a brand new, original score for "Ghost The Musical."
The smash musical--based on the movieopened in London's West End at the Piccadilly Theatre on July 19, 2011, earning four-star reviews from an array of media outlets including The London Times, Time Out and the Daily Telegraph.
It will open on Broadway Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater, with preview performances to begin in March.
