Jane's Addiction Update Their Sound

(Gibson) On October 18, Jane's Addiction will release The Great Escape Artist, the band's first new studio album in eight years. In a just-published interview with CNN, the group revealed that their sound has been "updated" for the new disc. "We are now working with synthesizers and computer software that goes with guitars," said frontman Perry Farrell, "so you'll hear a lot of very modern sounds mixed in with what people call the ageless, or timeless, sound of Jane's Addiction." more on this story
