(Gibson) The Beatles parted ways in 1969 amid fatigue, conflict and even some bitterness, leaving behind a legacy of the most celebrated musical enterprise in rock and roll history. Thankfully, the guys patched things up in the 1970s, and had all of the members survived a bit longer, Paul McCartney says, eventually, the band would have properly reunited."If John [Lennon] and George [Harrison] were still here, it's highly likely we would've had a Beatles reunion," Sir McCartney told the Daily Express, "I think we would've mellowed to the point where we would've said, 'Come on, let's do it.'
