The new Pantera/Dio/Sabbath supergroup Kill Devil Hill kicked off their first ever North American tour Sunday night in Clifton, NJ. Kill Devil Hill features inny Appice (Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, Dio) bassist Rex Brown (Pantera, Down) Dewey Bragg (Vocals) and Mark Zavon (guitars).
Freeman Promotions sent over word that the band played close to an hour and a half during the opening gig. The tour is set to run until November 5th.
Kill Devil Hill have signed with SPV/Steamhammer. Their debut album is tentatively scheduled for a March 2012 release. The still untitled release is being produced by Warren Riker who is best known for his work with Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Sublime, and Cathedral.
