(Rock News Desk) Steel Panther collaborated with Chad Kroeger in order to show the Nickelback frontman how to write metal music.Kroeger appears on Steel Panther's new album Balls Out, following a meeting with the band at a concert. Initially turning down his offer to record together, they formed an ulterior motive – to use his popularity to promote heavy metal.
Bassist Lexxi Foxx reveals: "He's written a lot of songs, and a lot of people like Nickelback, so we thought 'that's a great way to bring metal back – we do it with somebody who's not heavy metal, so we can totally show them how to do it." More Rock News.
