(hennemusic) We'll know what's up with the Black Sabbath reunion this Friday, when the original lineup holds a press conference at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood – 41 years to the day that they played their first US show at the venue..As 11:11 AM on 11/11/11 draws nearer, more news about the reunited original lineup is coming out. While promoting his new book, "Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven And Hell With Black Sabbath," guitarist Tony Iommi tells Billboard that the group reconvened earlier this year at Ozzy Osbourne's home in California "for a bit of fun, and to see if we could all play. It was good, but it was just purely, 'Let's have a go and see what happens.'" Iommi says the group plans to get together again "very soon...to discuss things and see what's going to happen and see what we're going to do. It's all in the air at the moment, but it'd be nice to think we can actually do something."
Tony says he'd like to see the lineup make its first new album together since 1978's "Never Say Die," save for two songs it added to the 1998 live album "Reunion." more on this story
