(Banana 101.5) It's been a crazy November for Nonpoint: they recently inked a record deal, announced a new album for Spring 2012, and reported the departure of their guitarist and bassist, and all within 4 days.Perhaps he spoke too soon about the band's happiness, especially the "We" part. The ink wasn't even dry on their contracts when it was announced that guitarist Zach Broderick and founding bassist Ken MacMillan were no longer in the band, leaving only Soriano and drummer Robb Rivera. Broderick and MacMillan are said to be involved with a new project which they will announce soon.
Now Blabbermouth reports that Nonpoint have drafted members of the Chicago hard rock outfit Inn Cinema to fill the gaps in their roster — they are rumored to have been joined by guitarists Rasheed Thomas and Dave Lizzio as well as bassist Adam Woloszyn. New members or no, the band has decided to cancel their upcoming tour dates. While news of the member changes are new to the press, a statement on Nonpoint's Facebook page indicate that they may have been gone for a while... more on this story
