(hennemusic) Velvet Revolver is reconvening next month, according to Slash. While promoting his forthcoming DVD, "Made in Stoke 24/7/11," due November 15 on DVD and Blu-ray, the guitarist also spoke to Billboard about his plans between now and the holidays.Slash says Velvet Revolver will get together in December to "spend some time with a couple of singers - that's all I can tell you." The group, on hiatus since frontman Scott Weiland left to rejoin Stone Temple Pilots in 2008, worked early this year with Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor, but that did not pan out, as Slash vetoed his involvement. more on this story
