(Gibson) Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell is currently out on a U.S. tour to promote his upcoming, acoustic solo album, Songbook, which reaches stores November 22. The album will feature songs from Cornell's work with Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, as well as his solo work and choice covers from John Lennon and Led Zeppelin.
Cornell recently fielded fans' Twitter questions via American Songwriter and when asked if he listens to any new music that's out there, he gave a fuzzy reply. "[I am] always listening to new music, but [it's] rare to hear new artists who make entire albums that draw me in. I feel it's a dying art." more on this story
