(Gibson) Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine says things are rosy again between him and Roadrunner Records, after dissing the label over what he felt was a lack of promotion for the band's previous album, Endgame.On the eve of the release of Megadeth's latest, Th1rt3en, Mustaine told Billboard, "We have had kind of an up and down time with Roadrunner, but right now everything is good. This album signified the era of, hopefully, a new regime. They were very helpful, and we helped things by putting down some firm boundaries and standing our ground and saying 'we can't do that' when we had to. So I'm very excited, very optimistic about the future."
Th1rt3en is the first Megadeth album since The World Needs a Hero to feature original bass player David Ellefson. The album includes rerecorded versions of five tracks previously released in different forms: video game tracks "Sudden Death" and "Never Dead," United Abominations-era fan club exclusive "Black Swan," and '90s demos "Millennium of the Blind" and "New World Order." more on this story
