(Gibson) DJ, producer Mark Ronson had a near death experience while in the studio with U.S. rock band Black Lips. According to The Sun newspaper, they were working on a song called "Raw Meat." Black Lips' Cole Alexander explained: "To get in the mood we started eating liver sashimi. Then we got sick. Mark's fever was so high his brain was cooking."Asked about what happened Mark Ronson told the NME: "I thought maybe I was hungover or something. Then I started shivering uncontrollably. The next thing, the band are putting all these blankets over me. I wake up an hour later, [expletive] moaning and groaning.
"One of them touched my skin and they were like 'Listen dude, we've got to get you to a hospital.' When I was there I was diagnosed with something with a lot of syllables in it – endorhinitis, or something like that. I almost died. But I don't think it was intentional on their part." more on this story
