Selena Gomez & The Scene Set Album Release

(Disney) Selena Gomez & The Scene have announced a June 28rd U.S. release date for their third album, When The Sun Goes Down.

Elsewhere in the world, Selena's new album will be available June 24 in Austria, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Switzerland and South Africa; June 28 in Spain, Italy, Canada, Asia Pacific and Latin America; July 1 in Germany, Australia and New Zealand; July 4 in the U.K. and France; and September 14 in Japan.

In North America, Selena Gomez & The Scene will be featured in the iTunes Countdown program. The Countdown kicks off June 7 with "Bang Bang Bang" followed by June 14 with "Dices" ("Who Says" Spanish version), then June 21 with the release of Selena & The Scene's upcoming single "Love You Like A Love Song." When The Sun Goes Down will also have an exclusive Target version featuring four bonus tracks, and a Direct To Consumer package with exclusive bonus content.

Selena worked with an A-list team of writers and producers for When The Sun Goes Down including Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Pixie Lott, Toby Gad (Fergie, Beyonce), E-man (Backstreet Boys, Whitney Houston), Priscilla Renea (Cheryl Cole) Tim James & Antonina Armato, Greg Kurstin (Ke$ha, Mike Posner), Midnight Beast/Stefan Abingdon and many more.

July 1 marks Selena's return to the big screen with the release of her Fox movie "Monte Carlo." Leading up to the movie debut, Selena will have a slew of promotional stops across the country kicking off with an appearance at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno June 9, a Good Morning America Summer Concert Series performance June 17, hosting and performing on the Much Music Video Awards on June 19, a performance on So Random June 19, a performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon June 23, Live with Regis & Kelly June 28, an appearance on The Today Show June 28, as well as visits to major market Top 40 radio stations. Following her whirlwind U.S. stops, Selena will head to Europe July 3 through July 9 for an album promotional tour. "Who Says" is featured in the trailers for "Monte Carlo" and in the end title credit of the film. Selena is also the star of the Emmy award-winning Disney Channel original series Wizards of Waverly Place.

On July 28, Selena Gomez & The Scene kick off their summer "We Own The Night" headline tour with Hollywood Records' label mates Allstar Weekend and YouTube sensation Christina Grimmie. The tour runs through September and several dates have sold out already.
