Foo Fighter Would Rather Play Clubs Over Arenas

(Gibson) Foo Fighters will roll into Tulsa, Oklahoma next Tuesday to rock the 19,000-seat BOK Center, as a part of the band's massive world tour. According to guitarist Chris Shiflett, though, it might not be the best venue for a rock show. "Rock 'n' roll should be done in clubs," Shiflett told TulsaWorld.com. "We've done lots of clubs and theaters in between all those huge shows. That's something we've always done. Lately we've just done a lot more of it." Nevertheless, the guitarist promised fans hoping to catch the Dave Grohl and company on the Wasting Light shows, "The bigger the venue, the bigger the bombast and spectacle. We're definitely louder on this arena tour." more on this story
