Manifestivus is celebrating its 9th year this summer with a lineup that includes Toubab Krewe, Locos Por Juana and Movement of the People.For two days and two nights, July 22-23, Cabot, VT will be rockin' as 2,000 people dance to the music of some of the best bands in the country.
This year's featured bands include: Toubab Krewe, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Infamous String Dusters, "Latin Grammy Nominee" Locos Por Juana, The London Souls, and Movement of the People – a Fela Kuti tribute ensemble.
"Manifestivus is proof that an epic event can happen in the backwoods of Vermont," says David Pransky, bassist for Toubab Krewe and founder of the festival. "We join the best of Vermont with the best of world music and culture to create an unforgettable weekend."
