The Strokes Already Planning Next Album

(Gibson) Following a five-year drought, The Strokes released their new album, Angles, last week. But the New York City rockers are already eyeing a follow-up. Bassist Nikolai Fraiture said the band could be heading back into the studio in a couple of weeks."We were just talking about when we would get back together and start writing for the next album," he told XFM, according to NME.com. "It should be soon. April, mid-April." Apparently, singer Julian Casablancas wasn't kidding when he previously said that The Strokes would start working on their new album "as soon as possible." more on this story
