Blue Sky Black Death Teasing New Album

.
Blue Sky Black Death have set a April 26, 2011 release date for their new album, NOIR, on Fake Four Inc. A fusion of eclectic rhythms rooted in underground hip-hop and ambient instrumentals, Blue Sky Black Death has created their best album to date with NOIR. To countdown their release, Blue Sky Black Death will be leaking a brief and enticing preview of the album every week until the album launches. Though Blue Sky Black Death's hip hop visionaries, Kingston and Young God, have become well-known for their unique collaboration with others artists such as Jean Grae, Crooked I and Wu Tang Clan affiliate Hell Razah, the new album will be all their own. Entirely instrumental, NOIR will incorporate sensual beats combined with mystifying musical arrangements that completely reinvent a genre. With a strong cult following, NOIR is the instrumental album Blue Sky Black Death fans have been wishing for. "NOIR is our official follow up to our 2008 album, Late Night Cinema," says Kingston. "It's almost a summer album, except it has highs and lows just like everything else." While the album's official release is a month away, fans are still able to get a taste of the much-anticipated new Blue Sky Black Death sound. Each week the duo will be posting a preview of their upcoming album to their Vimeo page: http://vimeo.com/bsbdmusic. "In a similar vein to our first instrumental album, NOIR is cinematic and grandiose, but refined and more polished. There's no defined concept to the album, and we prefer our listeners to fill in the blanks," adds Young God. "We honestly think NOIR is our most complex and moving album to date, if not our greatest achievement so far."
