Gwar's Oderus Has A New Gig

03/25/2011
.
Gwar frontthing Oderus Urungus has landed a new gig. Oderus will be spreading the disease as a weekly contributor to the biggest nationally syndicated metal show in the US - Full Metal Jackie.

That's right kids, every week from now until the end of time (or at least until he gets kicked off), the biggest mouth in metal shall descend "as Zeus from Mt. Olympus", and deliver "The Metal Minute", an up-to-date and concise weekly reporting of the latest or at least most-revolting metal news.

"My position gives me access---I see things. And I make a bunch of s*** up," said Oderus. "I especially love to embarrass and humiliate these rock stars with tales of frozen Snickers bars being wedged deeply into any number on semi-famous buttholes."

When asked why she would possibly want to have such a notorious metal malcontent on her show at all, much less every week, Jackie had this to say...

"Metal is about breaking society's 'rules'. Gwar is the ultimate satire of mainstream hypocrisy, and no one's better at pointing out that ridiculousness than Oderus. His verbal spew is full-on metal; it's absolutely perfect for Full Metal Jackie"

So be sure to catch the first episode of Full Metal Jackie with her new sidekick, Gwar's Oderus Urungus this weekend. For a complete list of affiliates that you can listen to the show on, be sure to check out www.fullmetaljackieradio.com.
