Rare Nirvana EP

(Gibson) A highly sought Nirvana EP that was released only in Australia is getting a second run. The influential band's Hormoaning EP will be re-released on Record Store Day, April 16, according to NME.com.The 1992 release includes Nirvana's covers of songs by Devo, The Vaselines and The Wipers, along with a couple of originals – "Aneurysm" and "Even in His Youth." The songs were recorded during a BBC session with DJ John Peel. It was originally sold during the band's tour of Australia. The re-released edition of Hormoaning will be limited to 6,000 copies at independent record stores. more on this story
