The Devastated, which features past members of Impending Doom and Oblige, are currently wrapping up tracking on their debut album with producer Chris Eck, a world wide release coming via Century Media. The Devastated states: "We are proud to announce our signing to Century Media Records. The backing and tremendous sense of family is that of which we have always hoped for in a label. We knew almost immediately that this was the perfect fit. We can't wait to release the record and get out on the road. Expect the unexpected and stay tuned to our facebook page for constant updates."
The Devastated are also set to hit the road with Suicide Silence as part of the Black Dynamite Tour. Suicide Silence frontman Mitch Lucker had the following to say about the band: "The Devastated is the heaviest thing to hit the Earth since the asteroids that killed off the dinosaurs."
