Mexican masked wrestling/burlesque/comedy ensemble Lucha VaVoom announced a "Cinco De Mayo Spectacular" that will take place simultaneously Thursday, May 5 in two cities. The events will happen in Los Angeles at the Mayan Theater (where they performed two sold-out shows in February) and Chicago at the Park West.
And when Lucha VaVoom drops the word "spectacular," you can rest assured that they'll amp things up to new levels of insanity at these must-be-seen-to-be-believed shows in celebration of the Mexican holiday.
Lucha Vavoom's CINCO DE MAYO shows are non-stop events that will be comprised of three action-packed wrestling matches and four lusty burlesque ladies (including Carolina Cerisola, one of the most well-known burlesque dancers in the world), all in one intermission-free experience. Attendees can also look forward to the following: strolling mariachis, a donkey photo booth, Aztec and folklorico dancers, a lowrider parade (in Los Angeles), giant Zumba dance (in Chicago), tamales, and--as is traditional with the holiday--lots of tequila courtesy of their friends at El Jimador.
