(Rock News Desk) The inventor of a three-string self-assembly guitar hopes his creation will engage young musicians like no instrument before it.The Loog Guitar is designed to be easy to build, easy to play and cheap to extend – and mastermind Rafael Atijas believes it will lead to an explosion of creativity among people who find a six-string too challenging. "We love six-string guitars but we believe they can be overwhelming for little kids and beginners. The Loog, with its three strings, makes it easy for them to tune, play and listen to what they're playing." Atijas says. "You can play any song on a three-string. A regular chord on a standard six-string is usually comprised of no more than three notes – so the Loog allows you to play real chords and virtually any song. more on this story
