(Webster) Sons of Anarchy stars Theo Rossi and Kim Coates will hit New York on March 13th-15th in support of the Boot Campaign.Theo Rossi, known as Juice Ortiz, and Kim Coates, known as Tig Trager, play two members of a notorious outlaw motorcycle club whose sole purpose is to survive and protect their small town of Charming, California. The drama, currently preparing for a fourth season, first aired in September of 2008 and by its third season became FX's highest rated series ever. After receiving word the "Sons of Anarchy" were taking a tour with the United Service Organizations (USO), the Boot Campaign reached out to FX directly and invited them to join their campaign. Boot Girl Sherri Reuland said, "It was a quick response
.'Absolutely! When can we get started?'" Now the cast of this hit series and the Boot Campaign are working to spread the word for Americans to "Get YOUR boots on!" The Boot Campaign is a grassroots initiative started by five ambitious Texas women, the Boot Girls, who felt called to action after reading the story of a former Navy SEAL. They started the campaign in order to provide a tangible way for people to show their support for the troops, and now Americans everywhere are purchasing combat boots. Proceeds from boot sales are donated to partner charities, including the Lone Survivor Foundation, which assist returning veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and varying degrees of physical injuries. Theo and Kim are just two of the many celebrities joining the Boot Campaign to support the troops.
