(Gibson) British folk-rock band Stackridge will make their U.S. television debut on Monday, March 14 — a mere 40 years after the group's first record. The band, whose The Man in the Bowler Hat album was produced by Beatles producer George Martin, will appear on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. According to BeatlesNews.com, Ferguson was a fan of the band as a teenager in Scotland. The group, which reformed in 1997 after a 20-year hiatus, got in touch with Ferguson after discovering that he was using one of the band's recordings in his touring stand-up act. more on this story
