Today Exene Cervenka, co-founder of the legendary punk band X, tells us about "Already In Love" from her brand new solo album "The Excitement of Maybe," which hits stores tomorrow. Here is the story: "It's late - it always is/girl groups and drugs/it's only Tuesday night but I'm already in love". I found a new rhyme for love! - drugs! Well, it's close enough. I always wanted a horn section, 60's R&B style, on a song, and on this single, that dream came true! Add Brady Blade on drums, Christian McBride on bass, Dave Alvin and me on guitars and Cindy singing it with me and it's a hit! Hearing is believing.
