Hurricane Bells released a new live album, Hurricane Bells Live At House Of Blues San Diego, yesterday via Live Nation. Recorded at the San Diego stop of the band's tour supporting KT Tunstall this past November, the album features live performances of six tracks from Hurricane Bells' debut album Tonight Is The Ghost, B-side "Monsters" from The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack, and new song "Let's Go." Hurricane Bells Live At House Of Blues San Diego is now available via iTunes.
The brainchild of longtime Longwave frontman Steve Schiltz, Hurricane Bells released an EP of two new songs and three covers, Down Comes The Rain, in late September via Schiltz's own label Invisible Brigades. As with Tonight Is The Ghost, Schiltz wrote, recorded, played, and produced the EP entirely himself.
Touring band mainstay Ashen Keilyn (Scout) joins him on backing vocals on the five tracks. A deluxe edition of Tonight Is The Ghost is also available via iTunes and features: "Monsters;" "Until The Morning," from the album's Japanese release version; and a remix of album track "Tonight I'm Going To Be Like A Shooting Star."
Schiltz is currently in the studio mixing Hurricane Bells' sophomore album, which is tentatively slated for a June release.
