The benefit is being staged to help the students and community of Ringgold, GA who were struck by an F-4 tornado on April 27. 100% of the proceeds for the concert will be split evenly between the Ringgold Band and the Ringgold athletic fund.

The EF-4 tornado that ripped through downtown Ringgold, GA destroyed about 50% of the town's businesses and many homes and places of worship. The greatest losses were the nine people that lost their lives as a result of the storm which included two students from Ringgold High School. Ringgold High School and Ringgold Middle School both suffered major damage.

Insurance is paying for all the work to repair the structural damage on the schools, but there has been no money to pay for the athletic facilities and equipment and band equipment lost in the storm. This equipment has taken years and years to acquire through special school fundraising initiatives.

The Ringgold High School Marching Tiger Band has won many awards through the years and both the band and athletic programs have touched at least 95% of the lives of students who attend the Ringgold schools.
