We received details about the Dave Matthews Band Caravan, the band's first-ever traveling festival, which is set to kick off at Atlantic City's Bader Field on June 24, 25 and 26. The event will feature a diverse lineup of musical talent performing on three stages during the day and a full set by headliners Dave Matthews Band each night.
The Flaming Lips and Mariachi El Bronx will kick off the weekend early with performances at House of Blues in Atlantic City on Thursday, June 23.
The group is taking the year off from touring, so the "Caravan" will mark its only performances of 2011. The "Caravan" will subsequently stop in Chicago, New York and Washington.
A total of 41 acts will perform over the course of three days, with headliners Dave Matthews Band - known for such hits as "What Would You Say," "Crash Into Me," "Too Much," "Everyday," "American Baby" and "Funny the Way it Is" - playing a full set each of the three nights.
