(Gibson) Although they're in the midst of making a new album, The Killers will get away from the studio for a little while in order to top the bill at the new Orlando Calling festival. The two-day event will take place November 12-13 at Citrus Bowl Park in Orlando, Florida.The Killers will headline the first day of festivities, which skews toward the indie and alt-rock side of things and will feature The Raconteurs, The Pixies, The Avett Brothers, The Roots, O.A.R, Drive-By Truckers and others.
Day 2, which features classic rock, blues and country stars, will end with a performance by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. Other acts include Kid Rock, Blake Shelton, Chris Isaak, Doobie Brothers, Buddy Guy and more. more on this story
