Rare Beatles Photos Fetch $360K

(Gibson) Previously unseen photographs of The Beatles' first American shows have sold at auction for more than $360,000.The photos were taken at their first U.S. concert at the Washington Coliseum in Washington, D.C., on February 11, 1964, just a couple of days after their historic debut on The Ed Sullivan Show. According to the Daily Express, the photographs were taken by Mike Mitchell, then 18, who stored the negatives for years in a box in his basement. more on this story
