(Gibson) John Lennon's first band, The Quarrymen, celebrated 50 years of The Cavern with a special 50th anniversary concert on July 13.According to Music-News.com, The Quarrymen played the famed Cavern Club in Liverpool at an event hosted by BOBCOM, a U.K. online music community which streamed the show live on the Internet. The Quarrymen played songs and told stories about the early years with Lennon, Paul McCartney and a very young George Harrison.
