After scoring an internet hit for all the wrong reasons with a "music" video for "Friday," Rebecca Black returns with a new song and video with plans for even more to come this summer. The 14 year old singer will release a new video and single called "My Moment," on July 18th at 8pm Pacific Daylight Time on her YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/rebecca, as well as on her website, www.RebeccaBlackOnline.com.
The new single will be available beginning on Tuesday, July 19th on iTunes and other online retailers. Black also confirmed that she is putting the finishing touches on a 5-track EP which will be available in August.
"My Moment" was written by Brandon "Blue" Hamilton and Quinton Tolbert and produced by Charlton Pettus. The "My Moment" video was directed by Morgan Lawley of Synthetic Pictures and edited by Nick Lofting of Jump, and features footage from a variety of real life events, including Rebecca receiving an award at her junior high school, her attendance at movie premieres and her recent hosting slot at MTV's Online Music Awards, to tell the story of her sudden rise to fame. It's a fairytale story, but it happened in real life.
