(Gibson) Say it ain't so, Fabs! Actually, it isn't true that The Beatles were arrested this past week in Liverpool. Their namesake, however, was not so lucky. George John Paul Ringo Hughes was arrested Monday, July 4 and charged with committing six burglaries. The crimes were allegedly committed in the Prenton area of Wirral, according to the BBC.
The 18-year-old Hughes, with no address on record, is due to appear at Wirral Magistrates' Court for the offenses. There is no word, as yet, on whether his parents will be charged for child cruelty stemming from his christening. more on this story
