(Gibson) Noel Gallagher has revealed details of his forthcoming debut solo album at a London press conference. The ex-Oasis songwriter says his debut "solo" album will be called Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and will be released on October 17 in the U.K. and November 8 in the U.S.The songs are: "Everybody's on the Run" - "Dream On" - "If I Had a Gun..." - "The Death of You and Me" - "(I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine" - "AKA...What a Life!" - "Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks" - "AKA...Broken Arrow" - "(Stranded on) The Wrong Beach" - "Stop the Clocks"
"Stop the Clocks," "If I Had a Gun...," "Everybody's on the Run" and "Record Machine" all date from Noel's Oasis years. Demos or soundcheck recordings have long-circulated on YouTube and have already become fan favorites even though Noel Gallagher has never played them live.
Noel Gallagher also has a second album ready: a collaboration with electronica duo Amorphous Androgynous, led by Gaz Cobain. Amorphous Androgynous previously remixed Oasis's Falling Down into a 20-minute psychedelic sprawl. Take a listen to a demo of one of the new songs
