Public Image Ltd Working on First Album in 20 Years

(Gibson) The guys in Public Image Ltd. have confirmed that they are writing and recording their first album in nearly 20 years, according to the Quietus. The reunited band's last studio release was 1992's That What is Not.Frontman John Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols) said that PiL are in a studio that is "in the outskirts of nowhere." The post-punkers reunited in 2009 and toured extensively in 2010. Lydon did advertisements for Country Life Butter in order to fund the band's recent tours and studio time. more on this story
