Slipknot Announce Live Return was a top story in December. Here it is again as we recap 2010: (Gibson) Slipknot will return to the stage in the middle of next year to headline Europe's Sonisphere festival – the same festival which this year saw the unprecedented "Big Four" thrash lineup of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax.It will be Slipknot's first run of shows without founding member Paul Gray, who passed away earlier this year. In a statement, the band said: "We're looking forward to spending our summer in Europe. This tour is about us and our fans. It's about celebrating the life of our brother, Paul, and his legacy.
