Red Singled Out Week: Feed The Machine
01/31/2011
.
Red roar back this week with the release of their new album, Until We Have Faces. To celebrate the release we asked Anthony Armstrong to pick some of his favorite tracks from the release and tell us about them. Here is today's song: Feed The Machine:This is my favorite song on the record hands down. There is a sarcastic element to it that I love. Every day we see more and more people transformed by the world around them. A lot of them are extremely vulnerable and can't even muster an intellectual defense against these ideals. Rather, they end up becoming someone they never wanted to be because the world tells them that it's important to "have this, buy that, look like this, and act like this." We have a heart for those that struggle with their own identity. This song is a wakeup call. Don't feed it, kill it. Destroy those ideals and define the world for yourself. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
