(Gibson) From the sound of things, The Jayhawks pretty much played the perfect show at New York's Webster Hall on Thursday night – wowing audience members by performing not only their 1992 album Hollywood Town Hall in its entirety but also delving into fan favorites from 1995's Tomorrow the Green Grass, as well as knocking out covers of Rod Stewart's "Reason to Believe" and Sister Rosetta Tharpe's "Up Above My Head."The concert was advertised as a two-set affair, but the band breezed right into the second set with barely a pause. [Hollywood Town Hall] is only 40 minutes long." more on this story
