(Gibson) A new iPhone/iPad app is sure to go over like a lead balloon
in a good way. The new This Day in Led Zeppelin app is following in the footsteps of the popular This Day in Music app, providing fans with more than 1,000 pages worth of information about one of the most legendary bands in rock history."I had the idea of making individual apps for some of the biggest acts in the world, and thought the best one to start with would be Zeppelin, because of their iconic status," said Neil Cossar, of This Day in Music, in a statement about the app. Among the app's features: a detailed list of every show Led Zeppelin every played, a Zeppelin quiz with hundreds of questions, critiques of every track the band ever recorded, a career overview of the group, photographs of the band and more.
