(hennemusic) Pat Padavona, the father of legendary heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2010 at Cortland Care Center in Cortland, New York. Blabbermouth reports Pat, 92, was laid to rest on January 11 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cortland. He served his country during World War II. He enjoyed working with his hands, making many pieces of fine furniture and accent pieces. more on this story
