Robert Plant and Kings of Leon Up for Brit Awards

(Gibson) Robert Plant, Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire are among the nominees for this year's BRIT awards, which were announced Thursday, according to Billboard.com. Mumford & Sons, The XX and Eminem also are nominated in multiple categories.At age 62, it's the first BRIT nomination for Plant, who's up for Best British Male Artist. Plant will be competing against Paul Weller, Mark Ronson, Plan B and Tinie Tempah. The BRIT awards, called the biggest night of the year for British popular music, will take place at London's O2 Arena on February 15.
