(hennemusic) Possibly the most exciting new act last year was a collection of seasoned rock and blues veterans with unbelievable chops to match their impeccable résumés. They were, of course, Black Country Communion – featuring Deep Purple singer-bassist Glenn Hughes, Led Zeppelin drummer Jason Bonham, Dream Theater keyboardist Derek Sherinian and guitar monster (and Gibson signature artist) Joe Bonamassa. The group released their debut album, Black Country, in September and played their first shows in Wolverhampton and London on December 29 and 30. Now, Blabbermouth is reporting that BCC is plotting a follow-up album, set for release in June. The group are also planning a full tour to support the disc, something they were unable to do for the first album, on account of the band members' varied commitments. more on this story
