British Library Give Fans Beatles Treasure Via New App

(Gibson) Some of England's greatest treasures can now be held in the palm of your hand, as the British Library is launching its own Treasures app for smartphones. Included alongside a draft of the Magna Carta, an original copy of Beowulf and Admiral Horatio Nelson's handwritten battle plans for Trafalgar are handwritten lyrics by The Beatles. But the Fab Four aren't the only musical legends in the collection. Original scores by Mozart, Schubert, Handel and Purcell are included, as well. more on this story
