(hennemusic) Alice Cooper rang in the new year by joining fellow Hall Of Famers James Hetfield (Metallica) and Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwod Mac), along with Pat Simmons (The Doobie Brothers) and Mike Kroeger (Nickelback), on stage in Maui to form a new rock n' roll supergroup for one night only. The group got together to play on New Year's Eve for the MALA Benefit, which helped the Maui Food Bank. The benefit was the second of two nights fronted by the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band; they played Dec. 30 at a Maui Celebrity Series concert at Maui Theatre in Lahaina, before suiting up for the New Year's benefit Mala Wailea to benefit the MACC and the Maui Food Bank. more on this story
