Carrie Underwood Taking Time Off in 2011

(Gibson) Following a busy 2010, country star Carrie Underwood says she plans to take some time off in 2011. "After the tour's over, it's kind of like we've slept, ate, breathed the tour," said Underwood to Nashville.com. "It's been all about the tour, so next year I think just being able to kind of stay still for a minute and unpack my bags and live like a person for a little bit, it will be some good medicine." The 27-year-old has nurtured not only a whirlwind American Idol-propelled career in the music industry, but she also scored a Golden Globe nomination earlier this month for her contribution of the song "There's a Place for Us" to the film Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. more on this story
