X star Exene Cervenka will release her new solo album, The Excitement of Maybe, on March 8th.Here is a little background we received about the release: Exene Cervenka is a scene vet, with experience most notably as co-founder of punk band X. She's also acted, written books, done visual art, and performed in a handful of other great bands. The Excitement of Maybe hovers over the themes of the potential and innocence of young love, the gravity of departure, and the symbolic changing of seasons. Throughout the new album is Exene's characteristic blend of folk, deep country and poppy, wide open spaces.
