(PR) Mute have announced an exclusive label release to celebrate the annual Record Store Day, on April 16, 2011.
The release titled, Vorwไrts, is a compilation of exclusive tracks from Mute artists, either from the vaults, such as Can's "Millionspiel (edit)", previously unreleased from 1970 or tracks which have been previously unreleased commercially. Hand-numbered and set to a limited edition of 1000 in the US on orange vinyl plus CD package, Vorwไrts features unreleased tracks from Liars, Junip, Josh T. Pearson, Mick Harvey, and Polly Scattergood along with the brand new track, "Be The One" from Moby. Full tracklisting below.
"In Every Direction (White Sea Remix)" by Junip is the lead track on Vorwไrts. White Sea is M83 singer Morgan Kibby's new project. Also featured are two new Mute artists, S.C.U.M and Big Deal, both based in London.
