DeScribe Teams With Matisyahu For Pure Soul

02/21/2011
.
DeScribe has some cool things in the works. First a new single (with Matisyahu,) a show this week in Tribeca and an EP this Spring. Read on for more details and to learn more about DeScribe!

DeScribe's music is a blend of hip-hop, reggae, and R&B. Hailing from Australia, DeScribe has lived in Israel, served as a sharpshooter in the Israeli Defense Force, and organized tours for the Wu-Tang Clan.

DeScribe is the opposite of what you'd expect a typical Rabbi to be. Rocking out with Rohan Marley, and Matisyahu, DeScribe takes it somewhere else. Dropping in March, his first single, which features reggae hitmaker Matisyahu "Pure Soul" is not just a feel good pop song: it has a purpose! It benefits the non-profit organization, The Friendship Circle, which supports special needs children. "Pure Soul" is an anthem that encourages worldwide acceptance.

Up next for DeScribe is his EP release in June, and a performance at the 92Y in Tribeca on Saturday, February 26th at 8:30pm.
